Initial situation:
In Switzerland, there are approximately 700,000 second homes, which are vacant for an average of 300 days. Most of these second homes are located in areas with a long heating season (mountain regions) and use
oil or gas heating (59%). When absent, the occupants only reduce the room temperature in their holiday homes by a few degrees.
Our future plans:
