Conventional controls struggle to maintain a stable room temperature: sometimes it's below, sometimes above the target temperature. This lack of precision leads to high energy consumption and limited comfort. Therm-Control offers a more precise and efficient way to regulate the temperature. Nussbaum's heating control system gradually and precisely adjusts each heating circuit to the desired temperature. Up to 12 heating circuits can be connected, and the system also performs fully automatic thermal balancing. A self-learning algorithm regulates the heating circuits and takes environmental factors such as sunlight or open windows into account. Thanks to this smart control system, the room temperature remains much more constant than with a conventional thermostat.
Significantly more economical:
The energy savings achieved with Therm-Control are remarkable. A recent performance analysis by the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) confirms the system's energy-saving potential of up to 20 percent. The greatest savings can be achieved during the transitional seasons. Especially in changeable weather conditions, Therm-Control's smart algorithm can demonstrate its advantages. "This allows us to achieve consistently high energy efficiency and comfort," says Sebastian del Valle, Heating Product Manager at Nussbaum.
The system also enables comfort and low energy consumption in a holiday apartment in Vella, Graubünden. Homeowner Roger Neukom switched from an older, SMS-based remote heating control system to Therm-Control. "With the old system, I could only heat all rooms simultaneously to a preset temperature. Individual room control offers much more precise control, and access via smartphone is very convenient," says Neukom. Installing Therm-Control in the existing heating manifold took very little time, and the system has been running smoothly ever since.

Therm-Control is very interesting for business owners because heating optimization is essentially done on a floor-by-floor basis. "This allows for quick and noticeable savings even without replacing the heat generator or upgrading the building envelope," says Sebastian del Valle. In addition to new construction, existing buildings are also particularly interesting. Approximately two-thirds of Swiss buildings are still heated with oil or gas – optimizing the heating system directly impacts CO2 emissions .
